The Eagles took the field at Trabuco Hills High School, their home field during construction at Saddleback College, defeating the Downey HS Vikings by a convincing score of 59-21 in their preseason home opener. Sophomore QB Peter Costelli was very effective, spreading the scoring opportunities around, while senior running back Jake Thomas was a beast.
